Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai (no meals)
Meet your local guide and driver at the
airport, and then transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day is on your own
arrangement.
Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning visit the Shanghai Museum
and the Jade Buddha Temple. After lunch, proceed to the Yu Garden and the
Yuyuan Market. In the evening, enjoy the wonderful Chinese acrobatics show.
Day 3 Shanghai (B)
After breakfast, you will be escorted to
the Expo site. You will have one day to explore the World Expo 2010 on your own
before you are transferred back to your hotel.
Note: Standard day ticket holders can enter
the Expo area once on any day except for peak days.(Standard day: from May 1 to
Oct 31, 2010, excluding May 1 to 3, October 1 to 7 and October 25 to 31).
Day 4 Shanghai / Huangshan (B, L, D)
Transfer via: Domestic flight arranged by
us
After breakfast, you will walk down the
Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye
view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. Later on, you will be escorted to the
airport for your flight to Huangshan.Upon your arrival at the airport, the
local guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel.
Day 5 (B, L) Mount Huangshan
Take cable car up to the summit of Mount
Huangshan at Yun Gu Station. Visit the North Sea Scenery, the highlights here
include the Start-to-believe Peak, Lion Peak, Bright Summit Peak and the Rock
That Flew from Afar. If weather permits, you will watch the spectacular sunset.
Stay overnight at hotel in the mountain.
Day 6 (B, L) Mt. Huangshan / Shanghai
Get up in the early morning to catch the
wonderful sunrise (if the weather is fine). After breakfast, take cable car down
the mountain and transfer to Yixian County to visit the Hong Cun and Xidi
villages. Drive back to Tunxi (Huangshan) to visit the Tunxi Old Street.
Transfer to the airport for your return fight to Shanghai. Be met at the
airport then transfer to your hotel.
Day 7Shanghai/Guilin (B)
Be free until you are escorted to the
airport for the flight to Guilin. Be met at Guilin Liangjiang International
Airport and then transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is your free time
Day8 Li River Cruise/Yangshuo (B, L)
In the morning, you will be picked up to
enjoy a downstream cruise (3.5-5hrs) on the Li River which flanked by unique
karst landscapes. You will have lunch on board and disembark in the famous
tourist town—Yangshuo and then visit the West Street. After dinner, enjoy a
fantastic ethnic show in the Li River--Impression Liu Sanjie.
Day9 Yangshuo (B, L)
After breakfast, your guide will rent bikes
with you to visit the countryside, then bamboo rafting down the Yu Long River
and then have lunch at a famous local restaurant. In the afternoon, your guide
and cooking teacher will lead you to a local market to buy meat and vegetables,
in a countryside farmhouse, you will have a cooking course to learn how to cook
Chinese food (for your dinner).
Day10 Yangshuo/Guilin/Longsheng (B, L)
Drive back to Guilin to visit the Reed
Flute Cave. After lunch, visit Folded Brocade Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill and
then transfer to Longsheng (89km) and stay overnight in Ping'an Village.
Note: For your dinner in Ping'an,the bamboo
rice you are highly recommended to taste as it is very delicious. The food is
mixed with some beans, peanut or vegatables and baked in a Bamboo Tube. Nearly
all the family restaurants serve this special food.
Day11 Hiking in Longsheng/Guilin (B, L)
Today, we will enjoy a hiking (about
4-5hrs) from Ping'an to Dazhai. On the way we will pass several Yao people's
villages and see many breathtaking views of the terraced rice fields. Drive
back to Guilin from Dazhai.

A Zhuang minority village offers a good
position to enjoy the rice terraced fields and Zhuang people's wooden buildings
-Dazhai
a very traditional Yao minority village
with a small wind and rain bridge, numerous beautiful rice terraces and unique
old wooden buildings.
Note: If you don't like hiking from Ping'an
to Dazhai, we can customize this. You will be picked up from Ping'an to Dazhai
and some other ethnic villages.
Day12 Guilin/ Departure (B)
Be free until you are escorted to the
airport for the flight to your next destination.
