Day1 Chengdu (D)

Meet your guide and driver at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (or at the train station) and then transfer to hotel.

Day2 Chengdu/Lijiang (B, L, D)

City tour to Chengdu Panda Breeding Center and Jinli Old Street, followed by the People’s Park and enjoy some tea there in a tea house. Transfer to airport for your flight (CA4451 20.30-21.50) to Lijiang. Be met at Lijiang airport and transfer to hotel.

Day3 Lijiang (B, L, D)

Visit the Old Town of Lijiang: Mu’s Mansion, Black Dragon Pool Park. Proceed to visit Baisha Village and Suhe Old Town at pm. Enjoy Naxi Ancient Music performance in the evening.

Day 4Lijiang/Tiger Leaping Gorge/Shangri-la (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge. Visit Shigu and view No.1 Bend of Yangtze River en route. Take a leisurely walk along the road by the river to the viewing site. Continue drive to White Water Terraces (local name: Baishuitai) for a visit and drive to Shangri-la (Zhongdian) overnight. Time on bus: 7hrs

Day 5 Shangri-la (B, L, D)

Visit Bita Lake (local name: Bi Ta Hai) at a.m. In the afternoon, take escorted tour to Songzanlin Monastery (local name: Ge Dan Song Zan Lin Si) and take a 1 hour walking tour to Nixi Pottery Village, which is well known for the century-old pottery making art. Time on bus: 3.5hrs

Day 6Shangri-la/Shaxi (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Weixi, the only Autonomous County of Lisu people in the country. The origin of Lisu people can be traced back to two thousand years ago. Continue to Shaxi and overnight at Shaxi Laomadian Guest House, which is located at the Shaxisideng Street. Time on bus: 6hrs

Day 7 Shaxi/Dali (B, L, D)

Make an excursion to the Stone Treasure Mountain (local name: Shibaoshan), where you will see many classical ancient Buddhist carvings. The Grottoes here offer a fine example of 9th century’s Bai carvings. After that, drive to Dali to visit Xizhou Bai Village, where the intact Bai minority buildings were built in Ming and Qing dynasties. Take a cruise on Erhai Lake in the late afternoon to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Time on bus: 3hrs

Day 8 Dali/Kunming/Shilin (B, L, D)

In the morning, visit Dali Old Town, the Ancient Wall Gate, Catholic Church and the Three Pagodas. After lunch, drive from Dali to the Stone Forest, which is about 90 km from Downtown Kunming. Time on bus: 7hrs

Day 9 Shilin/Sizhong/Xingyi (B, L, D)

After breakfast, pay visit to the Stone Forest and then drive to Xingyi. Time on bus: 6hrs

Day 10 Xingyi/Zhenfeng (B, L, D)

Drive to Zhenfeng. Stop over at the Aiyu Buyi People Village to see the Buyi People’s traditional way of spinning and weaving. Then, transfer to Zuoqi Black Miao Village to appreciate the women’s beautiful traditional costumes. Finally, drive to Xiaotun to see the locals making traditional paper with the mulberry leavers. Time on bus: 2.5hrs

Day 11 Zhenfeng/Huangguoshu -Anshun (B, L, D)

In the morning, drive to Huangguoshu. Stop over at Huajiang to view its grand valley. Then, explore a local Buyi People’s village to appreciate its stone architecture.  In the afternoon, admire the largest waterfall in China- Huangguoshu waterfall. Time on bus: 4.5hrs

Day 12Anshun/Guiyang (B, L, D)

Visit the Dragon Cave (aka Dragon Palace) with a boat cruise at a.m. Drive to Guiyang, on the way visit the ancient Han ethnic group at a Ming Dynasty’s military outpost-Tianlong Tunpu. You will also go to Qingyan Ancient Town in the afternoon. Time on bus: 3.5hrs

Day 13Guiyang/Kaili(B, L, D)

Drive about 3hrs to Kaili. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Matang Gejiang Village. Time on bus: 4hrs

Day 14Kaili/Rongjiang(B, L, D)

In the morning, visit Langde Miao Village, and then drive across the Mt. Leigong (altitude 2178m) and reach Rongjiang. On the way, you will stop over visiting Paika Village and Datang Miao Village (both in Leishan County). The former is noted for its Lusheng making, the latter is famous for its women who wear the unique ethnic miniskirt. Time on bus: 4.5hrs
Hotel: Dongxiangmi Hotel 3*

Day 15 Rongjiang/Liping/Congjiang (B, L, D)

Drive to Zhaoxing Dong Village (in Liping County), the largest of its kind in China. Transfer to visit Basha Miao Village (in Congjiang County), a village is noted for its men’s guns, unique hair styles and women’s shinning fabric etc. Time on bus: 4.5hrs

Day16 Zhaoxing/Sanjiang/Chengyang (B, L, D)

Drive to Sanjiang (120km 4.5hrs) first and then transfer to Chengyang Dong Village (20km 0.5hrs). It is known for its beautiful Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge. You will also pay a visit to a local family and enjoy a weaving show there. Stay overnight in a basic guest house in the village. Time on bus: 5hrs

Day 17 Chengyang/ Sanjiang/ Longsheng (B, L, D)

Drive to Longji (in Longsheng County) in the late morning. At p.m., moderate trekking on top of the mountain to view the rice terraces and ethnic villages. Time on bus: 2-2.5hrs

Day 18 Longji/Guilin (B, L, D)

Descend the mountain after some more visits to the village and transfer to Guilin. City tour in the afternoon, visit Solitary Peak in Jingjiang Prince Palace, Fubo Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill. Time on bus: 2-2.5hrs

Day 19 Guilin/Yangshuo(B, L, D)

Li River Cruise downstream to Yangshuo with lunch on board. On arrival at Yangshuo at about 1.30p.m., be met and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, take a countryside tour by golf car from Yangshuo to Yongcun Village, Moon Hill and Yima. Evening Son et Lumiere show “Impression Liusanjie”. Time on bus: 1hr

Day 20 Yangshuo(B, L, D)

Make a morning excursion to Huangyao Ancient Town. At p.m., have a bamboo rafting on the beautiful Yulong River. In the evening, watch the cormorant catching fishes. Time on bus: 3hr

Day21 Yangshuo/Guilin (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Xingping and visit the Fishing Village. Then you are transported back to Guilin for your flight to next destination. Time on bus: 3.5hrs
