Day 1 Arrive Beijing (no meals)

Meet your guide at the Beijing Capital International Airport, and then be picked up to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)

In the morning, you will first visit the world biggest public square--Tiananmen Square, and then the imperial Forbidden City. In the afternoon, proceed to see the splendid Temple of Heaven. After the day sightseeing, enjoy the delicious Peking Roast Duck dinner.
-Tiananmen Square: the world's largest public square, it was the front gate of the Forbidden City in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is surrounded by many imposing buildings including the Heavenly Gate, Museums, government buildings and Mao's Mausoleum.
- Forbidden City: home to the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It has over 9,000 unique buildings and houses numerous ancient works of art. The site was designated the world cultural heritage by the UNESCO.
- Peking Roast Duck: Peking Roast Duck is regarded as one of the most delicious dishes in the world. A Peking Duck Dinner is usually a fixed item on any Beijing tour itinerary. At time-honored restaurants such as Quan Ju De, you can savor the mouth-watering traditional Beijing specialty, and at the same time the chefs will show you how they cuts the meat into exactly 108 slices from one duck, each having a piece of skin.
Day 3 Beijing (B, L)

Today, you will have a full-day excursion to the symbol of Chinese nation—majestic Great Wall (Mutianyu Section), Sacred Way and the Dingling Tomb (one of the 13 Ming Tombs).
-Mutianyu Great Wall:
This section of the Great Wall, mostly in good conditions, was rebuilt in the third year (1569) of the Longqing reign of the Ming Dynasty. Outside the wall the mountains are steep while within the wall the land is gentle. There is a close cluster of watchtowers in unique shapes and diverse structures. Parapets stand on the upper edge of inner and outer walls to form a complete defense work that hugs the contour of the terrain as the Great Wall descends in a series of escarpments. Scenic spots include Bull's Horn Ridge, Arrow Nock, and Eagle Flying Belly Up.
- Sacred Way:
An attractive way which leads to the Ming Tombs, bordered by 12 sets each of animal and human statues, and includes the Great Red Gate, housing a stele on the back of a tortoise, and marble memorial archway.
-Dingling Tomb:
The burial site of the emperor Wanli, the 13th emperor of the Ming Dynasty who ruled for 48 years until his death in 1620, it is the only underground tomb of the 13 Imperial Ming tombs ever excavated.
Day 4 Beijing (B, L)

Today, you will first visit the traditional Beijing Hutongs by rickshaw, and then the beautiful Summer Palace.
- Beijing Hutongs:
These unique street designs are, in fact, innumerous old interlaced narrow lanes with courtyard houses built on each side. Hutong is the epitome of Beijing folk life, which has been studied with the courtyard houses for many years as a kind of culture of Beijing.
- Summer Palace:
Originally built in 1750, this royal garden of the Qing Dynasty is a masterpiece of Chinese landscaping that harmoniously incorporates the works of man and nature. With its magnificent buildings, perfect layout, artistic collections and enchanting scenery, it is known as the most splendid garden in China.
Day 5 Beijing / Xian (B)

After breakfast, pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven. In the afternoon, be escorted to the airport for the flight to Xian. Upon your arrival in Xian, be met and picked up to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
-Temple of Heaven:
A a place where the emperors offered sacrifice to Heaven and pray for bumper harvest. This beautiful traditional temple is the largest complex of existing ancient sacrificial buildings in China. If you visit it in the early morning, you can see many people do exercise.
Day 6 Xian (B, L, D)

This morning, you will pay a visit to the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. In the afternoon, have a cycling (bikes are our arrangement) tour on the Ancient City Wall. Complete the day with a savory dumpling dinner.
- Shaanxi Provincial History Museum:
The museum houses a large collection from the prehistory to the modern times including a big collection of rare relics unearthed in Shaanxi Province.
-Ancient City Wall:
15 meters wide and 11.9 kilometers in perimeter, it is the most intact city defensive fortification in China, including moat, drawbridges, turrets, ramparts, sentry towers, gate towers, battlements and a number of other military facilities.
-Dumpling Dinner:
Chinese dumpling has a long history and is an essential part of celebratory meals such as those prepared for the Chinese lunar Spring Festival. At the dinner, nearly 20 varieties of dumplings that are steamed and stuffed with different delicious fillings such as vegetables, meats and seafood are served. These dumplings are not only tasty, but also characteristic with their colors and fragrance, style and culture meanings. All these make the dinner so unique that you should not miss it when traveling in Xi'an.
Day 7 Xian / Guilin (B, L)

Today, you will first watch the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and then proceed to see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After that, be transferred to the airport for the flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, you will be met and escorted to the hotel.
-Terracotta Warriors and Horses:
A a much lauded destination in China, in which the terracotta warriors and horses have been extolled as ""the eighth great wonder of the world"" and ""the greatest discovery of the 20th century"" since they were dug up in 1974. Nearly 10,000 pieces of unequalled terracotta warriors and horses constitute a big commanding legion in the big pits of the museum. Two exquisite pieces of Bronze Chariots with Horses, uncounted bronze weapons such as crossbows, arrows, spears, swords, lances, and halberds etc also found in the pits. They were all listed on the World Cultural Heritage Catalogue by the UNESCO in 1987.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda:
Located in the south of Xian, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda stands in what was formerly the Temple of Great Maternal Grace (Da Ci'ensi). The temple was built around about 648 AD by the Emperor Gao Zong (the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty) when he was still Crown Prince, in memory of his deceased mother.
Day 8 Guilin / Yangshuo (B, L)

After breakfast, drive to Zhujiang Pier (about 40-minute drive) to start the boat cruise (3.5-5 hrs) along the beautiful Li River to Yangshuo County. Check in the hotel in Yangshuo, the rest of the day is your free time.
-Li River:
Boasts of the beautiful stunning karst scenery on the river banks. Along the river, tourists will see the green peculiar-looking peaks, luxuriant bamboo forest, buffalos, villages, fruitful orchards, paddy fields and farmers.
Day 9 Yangshuo (B)

After breakfast, you will have an enjoyable bike riding to get lost in the Yangshuo karst countryside (Ride to the Yulong River).
-Cycle to Yulong River: Yulong River flows through the beautiful limestone landscapes near Yangshuo. Local people travel up and down this river using rafts to get from their homes to the markets and rice fields. On the way to the river, you will see the beautiful countryside scenery and the local people work in their rice fields or orchards.
Day 10 Yangshuo (B)
Today is for your free exploration of Yangshuo. You can do many things in this beautiful county, such as caving, rock climbing, cycling, kayaking, learn Chinese Kung Fu, learn Tai chi, learn Chinese cooking, hot air ballooning, or be a volunteer English teacher in the local foreign language Schools…please consult your guide, she/he will tell you where to do these things.
Day 11 Yangshuo / Guilin / Chengdu (B, L)

Today, drive back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive) and have a city tour of the Elephant Trunk Hill, the Fubo Hill and the Reed Flute Cave before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Upon you reach Chengdu, be met and escorted to your hotel.
-Elephant Trunk Hill:
Situated majestically at the southeast of Guilin City and west bank of Li River, Elephant Trunk Hill is regarded as the symbol of Guilin City.
- Fubo Hill:
Fubo Hill offers a better view of the surrounding countryside. Beside the steps leading to the top of the hill is an enormous cooking pot (Thousand People Pot) as well as a cast-iron hell weighting 2.5 tons. On the southern slope of the hill is Huanzhu Dong (Returned Pearl Cave) which takes its name from a local legend.
- Reed Flute Cave:
The largest and most impressive Karst cavern in Guilin. In it you will see many beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and many fantastic spectacles.
Day 12 Chengdu / Mt. Emei (B, L)

Drive to Emei Mountain to visit the monkeys and Baoguo Temple. Then be transferred down of the Mountain.
-Emei Mountain:
One of the four mountain ranges in China that Buddhists consider sacred. It was designated as the world heritage by the UNESCO in 1996. Since ancient times Emei Mountain has been described as ""Beauty under Heaven"". Temples were built as early as the Eastern Han Dynasty (220B.C.--25A.D.) and Buddhism was introduced to the mountain during the Jin Dynasty. In the Ming and Qing dynasties there were once over 150 temples in the mountain.
- Baoguo Temple:
Baoguo Temple is one of the most famous temples in Emei Mountain. It was originally built in 1644 and finally completed in 1928. This grand temple is famous for its layout and beautiful Buddhism garden.
Day 13 Emei / Leshan / Chengdu (B, L)

Today, you will first transfer to Leshan to see the giant Buddha. After that, drive back to Chengdu to visit the Dufu's Thatched Roof Cottage and Wangjianglou Park.
-Leshan Giant Buddha:
Originally caved in 713 A.D. and finally accomplished in 803 A.D. The Buddha is so big that the ancient Chinese poets wrote: ""the Buddha is a Mountain, the Mountain is a Buddha."" The Giant Buddha is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province and on the Lingyun Mountain where Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River meet.
- Dufu's Thatched Roof Cottage:
Located on the side of the Flower Washing Brook in the western suburbs of Chengdu. It is the former residence of the celebrated Tang dynasty poet, Du Fu (712-770AD) who was born in Henan province. At the age of 20 he left his home to travel within China. He used to be an official for 10 years in Chang'an (present Xian), the capital of the Tang dynasty, and was captured by rebels after an uprising. He then fled to Chengdu where he built this humble cottage and stayed for about four years.
-Wangjianglou Park:
Located by the Jinjiang River, Wangjiang Lou Park is famous for its various bamboos, the Ming and Qing architectural complexes and the historical sites for memorizing the a Tang Dynasty female poet.
Day 14 Chengdu / Chongqing / Embark your ship (B, L)

After breakfast, be picked up to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base to see the national treasure of China-giant panda bear. In the afternoon, you will be met and transferred to the bus station for the bus to Chongqing. Upon you arrive in Chongqing, be escorted to board the Regal China Cruise.
- Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base:
18km from the city center, housing 12 panda bears in natural environments: it is the best place to see Chengdu's most famous residents and you can get to know more about this precious species in the museum there.
Day 15 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)

Depart Chongqing at 08:00AM. Have a shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai. The ship company will choose one of the two sites as your excursion destination.
-Fengdu Ghost City:
Fengdu got its reputation as the ""Ghost City"" in the Eastern Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-25 A.D.). With temples constructed on the Ming Hill by the river bank and many statues of ghosts and devils molded in the temples, this terrifying city is the optimum place to study ancient Chinese ghost culture.
- Shibaozhai:
Literally means the Stone Treasure Fortress, but some call it the Treasured Stone Stockade or Precious Stone Fortress. The whole building is composed of a gate, gate tower, and an ancient Buddhist temple on the top guards the only path up the mountain. Today, Shibaozhai is known as one of the ""world's eight great majestic buildings."" It has attracted large visitors from all over the world.
Day 16 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)

Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream by smaller ship. The ship company will choose one of the two sites as your excursion destination.
Day 17 Disembark in Yichang / Shanghai (B)
Transfer via: China domestic flight on our arrangement
Today, you will have a shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site. And then be met and transferred to airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival, the local guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel.
- Three Gorges Dam:
The Three Gorges Dam is extolled as the ""Great Wall across on the Yangtze River"" in China. It is located in the Sandaoping, Yichang, Hubei Province. The project includes the dam itself, flood-discharge structures, a hydroelectric power station and navigational structures. The dam will be 185 meters high and 2,309.47 meters long. The normal water level of the reservoir will be 175 meters.
Day 18 Shanghai (B, L)

Today, your daytime sightseeing will include the Shanghai Museum, the Bund, Nanjing Lu, Yu Garden and Yuyuan Market. In the evening, enjoy the wonderful Chinese acrobatic show.
-Shanghai Museum:
One of the most famous museums in the world. It is known for the over 120,000 pieces of Chinese antiquities.
-The Bund:
The symbol of Shanghai City, where the financial tycoons had their headquarters in the 1920s and the 1930s. The Bund is about a mile long, many western style architectures built in the early 20th century standing there.
-Nanjing Lu:
Enjoys the reputation of ""Chinese Ginza"" and ""China's No.1 Shopping Street"" with a glittering array of articles on sale.
-Yu Garden:
Originally built in 1559 and finished in 1557. It features ancient cultural artifacts, pagodas, pavilions, carvings, rockeries, fountains, old trees and precious flowers etc.
- Yuyuan Market:
A bustling market nearby the Yu Garden. It is a perfect combination of tourism, shopping, local food and Chinese folk entertainment.
-Chinese acrobatic show:
Chinese acrobatics has been popular with Chinese people since over three thousand years ago. It enjoys the reputation of ""the living Oriental art"". Watching the Chinese acrobatics show, you will be strongly attracted both mentally and physically. The show is usually combined with stunt, dance, opera arts, stage design, costume, lights and music.
Day 19 Shanghai (B)
Today, the guide will not accompany you. You can do some shopping or make a free exploration of Shanghai.
Day 20 Shanghai / Suzhou / Huangshan (B, L)

After breakfast, you will trip to Suzhou (100km away from Shanghai), which has been known as the Oriental Venice. Upon your arrival, be met by your local guide, your tour in Suzhou includes: the classical Humble Administrator's Garden and the attractive Lingering Garden, the ancient Tiger Hill Park and the No.1 Silk Factory. Then you will be escorted to take the overnight train to Huangshan.
- Humble Administrator's Garden:
Is the biggest one of its kind in Suzhou. It is one of the four most famous gardens in China as well as the World Heritage Site, and knowns as 'the garden of gardens in the world'.
- Lingering Garden: Noted for its adroit partitioning with building complexes. It dates to the Ming Dynasty and managed to escape destruction in the Taiping Rebellion. The garden's name which means the garden for lingering in, was originally the residence of a Ming official Xu Shitai, and named East Garden.
- Tiger Hill Park:
Is located on the northwestern edge of Suzhou, which has a history of over 2500 years. Endowed with historic events, cultural heritage and picturesque, the hill is known as the top sights in Suzhou and a name card of the Suzhou tourism.
- No.1 Silk Factory:
Suzhou is also famous for its silk production. In the factory you can see how the silk is processed from the silk worm to the final woven cloth. Also, you can buy your favorite silk in the factory.
Day 21 Huangshan (B, L)

You will arrive in Huangshan in the morning time, our local guide will bring you to have a breakfast and then you will be transferred to drive 69 kilometers to Huangshan Scenic Area and take cable car to the top of the Huangshan Mountain. After check-in and lunch, you will trip Begin-to-Believe Peak, Brush Pen Peak and Lion Peak, the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion, etc. Stay overnight at the summit.
-Huangshan Mountain:
Located in Anhui province, the mountain is famous for its sea of clouds, odd pines, grotesque rocks, unique peaks, springs and magnificent sunrise and sunset. Huangshan Mountain is one of the most famous world's geological parks.
Day 22 Huangshan / Shenzhen (B, L)
Transfer via: China domestic flight on our arrangement
Enjoy the sunrise at Huangshan Mountain, and then take cable car down the mountain. Drive back to Huangshan City, and take a walk on the 600-year-old Tunxi Ancient Street. After that, you will be escorted to the airport for the flight to Shenzhen.
