Day 1 Arrive In Guiyang (D)

Meet your guide at the airport and then be transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Guiyang To Anshun (B, L, D)

Today, we will drive to Anshun to see the Huangguoshu Waterfall, the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area and the Tianlong Tunpu Old Town, a military outpost in more than 600 years ago. After the full day sightseeing, drive back to Guiyang.

Day 3 GuiyangTo Kaili (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Kaili (2.5 hrs) to visit the Kaili Folk Museum, where you will know many about the costumes of different ethnic groups in Guizhou. In the afternoon you will be driven to Shiqiao Village to see how the paper is hand-made in a traditional way. Stop over at Qingman Miao Village on the way back to Kaili. In the village, we will see many old legged wooden houses and witness the entire process of traditional Miao clothes-making.

Day 4 Kaili (B, L, D)

In the morning, we will have 1 hour drive along the Bala River to the Jidao, a beautiful village filled with traditional wooden houses and waterwheels. After lunch, we go on our trip to Datang Miao Village. This village is well known for its aquatic granary and the Miao women’s traditional ethnic miniskirts. Afterward, drive to Paika, a Miao village which is famed for its production of Lusheng. In China, Lusheng is a kind of reed-pipe (or bamboo-pipe) wind instrument, which is played by the ethnic groups such as Miao, Dong, Yao, Shui, Gelao, Dai and Bulang etc. In Paika Village, you will learn some about this unique instrument. Drive back to Kaili.

Day 5 Kaili/Depart Guiyang (B)

Drive back to Guiyang for your flight to next destination.
