Tour Overview
A fabulous China tour in 2017! We'll explore a number of facts in China: Mutianyu Great Wall, Forbidden City, panda base, Mt. Emei, Leshan Giant Buddha, Dazu Stone Carvings, Zigong Dinosaur Museum, landmarks of Shanghai, Yangtze gorges and Zhouzhuang Water Town...

Day 1 Entry Beijing (no meals)
Meet your guide at  the Beijing Capital International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Then the guide will confirm your itinerary and recommend you some famous restaurants. The remainder of the day is for your own leisure.

Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)
Make a full-day visit to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. After completing the day sightseeing, you will enjoy the Beijing Roast Duck Dinner at the Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)
After breakfast, take your special bus to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. Then lunch at a local restaurant, and drive straight to visit the Sacred Way and Changling Tomb (one of the famous 13 Ming Tombs). After dinner, enjoy the wonderful Kungfu show which is applauded madly in the Red Theater.

Day 4 Beijing / Chengdu (B)
Transfer via: China domestic or international flight (our arrangement)

Upon you arrive at the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, be met by your local guide and driver, and then be picked to the hotel. The rest of the day is at yourown leisure, or you can walk out of the hotel to make a free exploration of the city.

Suggestion: If you are interested in touching Chinese tea culture and mahjong culture, we suggest you pay a visit to the People's Park (free ticket) in your free afternoon. In this quiet place, you can sit in the tea houses to drink cups of tea and see the local people how to play mahjong.

Day 5 Chengdu (B, L)
Enjoy full-day tour of the Dufu's Thatched Roof Cottage, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the Wuhou Temple and the cultural Jinli Old Street.

Suggestion: What is for your dinner this evening? Sichuan is famous for its delicious hot pot (Huoguo). The flavor of Sichuan hot pot is usually hot and spicy is not a legendary word. Tasting is believing. Just find a local hot pot restaurant and challenge this unique food.

Day 6 Chengdu/Leshan/Mt. Emei (B, L)
Drive from Chengdu to Leshan to admire the world's largest stone Giant Buddha (Leshan Dafo), and then visit ancient Plank Cliff Path and the Stele Forest. Drive to Mt. Emei.

Day 7 Mt. Emei (B, L)
Visit the Emei Mountain. You will first take cable car to see the Wannian Temple (aka Monastery of Ten Thousand Years), and then visit the Qingyin Pavilion, Baoguom Temple, famous wild monkey protection region.

Day 8 Mt. Emei/Zigong/Dazu (B, L)
Drive to Zigong to visit the Zigong Dinosaur Museum and the Historical Museum of the Salt Industry. Transfer to Dazu.

Day 9 Dazu/Chongqing (B, L)
Visit the Dazu Stone Carvings (Beishan and Baoding Shan), and then transfer to Chongqing. If time permits, we will visit the Ciqikou Old Town. After that, we drive to Chongqing and board the ship.

Note: The cruise ship usually departures at 9:00 pm, the visitors stay on the ship during night.  

Day 10 Yangtze Cruise and Shore Excursion (B, L, D)
Visit Fendu Ghost City (aka Fengdu Ghost City) in the early morning, then see Shibaozhai Pavilion on the cruise in the afternoon. The ship will dock near the white Emperor Town at night.

Day 11 Yangtze and Its Tributary Cruise (B, L, D)
The ship passes through the Qutang Gorge in the morning. Taking 6 hours to visit "Lesser Three Gorges" or "Shennong Stream" (The ship company will choose one of the two), afterward visit Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge and more...

Day 12 Yangtze Cruise/Yichang/Shanghai (B)
Transfer via: China domestic flight (our arrangement)

This morning, the Yangtze cruise ship reaches Yichang. We pay a visit to the Three Gorges Dam and disembark the ship in Yichang around 12:00. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Be met in the Shanghai airport and transfered to the hotel.

Day 13 Yichang/Shanghai (B)
A full day sightseeing to the Jade Buddha Temple, the Shanghai Museum, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Yu Garden and the Yuyuan Bazaar (aka the Yuyuan Market). Enjoy the wonderful Chinese acrobatic show in the evening.

Day 14 Suzhou (B, L)
Drive about 1.5 hours to Zhou Zhuang Water Town (in Suzhou) to see the Shen Family Residence, Zhang Family Residence and Mi Tower and then have a river cruise through the village. Be transferred back to your Shanghai hotel in the afternoon.

Day 15 Shanghai / Departure (B)
Be free until your local guide escorts you to the Shanghai Pudong International Airport for your homebound flight.
