7-Day China Water Towns and Shanghai Expo Tour

Tour Overview
This is a classical tour package for exploring the site of Shanghai Expo 2010 and the most famous tourist highlights in Shanghai and Suzhou.During this tour you will see many artistic pavillions in the Expo site and learn about many Chinese facts,such as silk,great buildings,private gardens,embroidery,acrobatics,Suzhou local show,cultural relics...

Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai (D)
Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. In the afternoon you will stroll down the Bund, and Nanjing Road.

Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)
Today you will visit the Shanghai Museum, where you will spend about two hours to appreciate its invaluable collections. In the afternoon, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, and then have a bird's eye view of the Shanghai from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. After dinner, enjoy the stunning Chinese  acrobatics show.

Day 3 Shanghai (B)
After breakfast,you will be escorted to have a full day tour for 2010 Shanghai World Expo site. Be transferred back to the hotel.
Note: Standard day ticket holders can enter the Expo area once on any day except for peak days. (Standar day: from May 1 to Oct 31, 2010, excluding May 1 to 3, October 1 to 7 and October 25 to 31).

Day 4 Shanghai/Suzhou (L)
Be picked up to Tongli Water Town. Spend several hours there for sightseeing (includes the Garden of Seclusion and Meditations, the Pearl Pagoda, the Triple Bridge, and Ming and Qing Dynasty Street.) and have lunch there. Transfer to Suzhou city in the late afternoon. Check in your hotel and have a good rest.

Day 5 Suzhou (B, L, D)
Pay a morning visit to the Lingering Garden and Suzhou Silk Museum. After lunch have a cruise tour on the Grand Canal, and then proceed to see the Panmen Gate. After dinner, enjoy Night Garden Show in the Master of the Nets Garden.

Day 6 Suzhou/Shanghai (B, L)

In the morning visit the old Suzhou city on 3-wheel rickshaw. Then visit the YaoJianPing Embroidery Art Museum (in Luzhi Town) and Tiger Hill. In the afternoon, transfer back to Shanghai.

Day 7 Shanghai/Departure (B)
Be free until your local guide and driver escort you to the airport for your homebound flight.
