5-Day Sichuan Culinary Tour

Tour Overview
Sichuan hotpot, Kung Pao chicken, Mapo dofu, Twice cooked pork...these well-known Sichuan Cuisines may be much talked by the tourists who have returned to your country from Chengdu. During this tour, you will guided by our professional teachers and chefs to learn the knowlege of Sichuan cuisines and even practice to cooking the authentic Sichuan cuisines.

Day 1 Arrive in Chengdu (no meals)
Meet your guide and driver at the airport, and then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Chengdu (B, L, D)
Morning attend the cooking course at 09:00 - 11:30. During the class, you will learn some theoretical knoledge about two Sichuan courses. The teaching contents will inculde their seasonings and cooking methods etc.. Enjoy lunch at the students' dining hall.  Practice to making the two courses at 14:00 - 17:00. The teacher will guide and make comments on your dishes. End the class, and then enjoy dinner at a  famous local restaurant.

Day 3 Chengdu (B, L, D)
Morning attend the cooking course at 09:00 - 11:30. During the class, you will learn some theoretical knoledge about another two Sichuan courses. Have lunch at the students' dining hall. Practice to making the two courses at 14:00 - 17:00. The teacher will guide and make some comments on your dishes. End the cooking course and transfer to a local famous restaurant, where you will wear a uniform to observe the chefs how to cook sichuan food. Enjoy dinner at the restaurant.

Day 4 Chengdu (B, L, D)
Morning pay a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, and then transfer to Leshan. After lunch, proceed to visit the Lingyun Temple, Jiuqu Zhandao (a steepy plank road built along a cliff reaching to the feet of the Giant Buddha) and the Giant Buddha. Later drive back to Chengdu. In the evening, watch the wonderful face-changing show.

Day 5 Chengdu/Exit (B)
After breakfast, be escorted to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
