Tour Overview
This guided Huangshan Hiking tour offers you a special way to visit the breathtaking Yellow Mountain, Taoist Qiyun Mountain, the beautiful Xin'an River, world cultural heritage villages - Xidi and Hongcun, and the exciting bamboo rafting on the Hengjiang River.

Day 1 Arrive in Huangshan (no meals)
Meet your guide and driver at the airport or bus/train station. Later Transfer to Huangshan International Hotel (4-star).

Day 2 (B, L, D)
Drive to Nanyuankou and hike along the Xin'an River (aka Hsin-an River). The river is so beautiful and cultural that it is extolled "the cool and refreshing world" and "the road of the Tang poetry" in China. Back to the hotel.

Day 3 (B, L, D)
Drive to the Mercy Light Pavilion, the starting point where we hike up the Yellow Mountain (aka Huangshan Mountain). We will hike about 4 hrs to reach the Jade Screen Pavillion. After lunch hike another 3 and half hrs to the Beihai Hotel (4-star).

Day 4 (B, L, D)
Get up early to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise. After breakfast,  hike down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon in the West Sea Scenic Area. You will arrive at the Tianhai Scenic Area through the Baiyun Scenic Area. In the late afternoon, enjoy the sunset at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion. Stay overnight at Beihai Hotel (4-star)..

Day 5 (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit the North Sea Scenic Area. Climbing to its summit, you can get a commanding view of the peaks, rocks, sea of clouds, trees etc.. Proceed to see the Jade valley and hike down the Yellow Mountain. Drive back to Huangshan City and check into Huangshan International Hotel (4-star).

Day 6 Huangshan/Departure (B, L)
Pay a morning visit to the famous Taoist mountain, Qiyunshan. After lunch, we will have a bamboo rafting down along the scenic Hengjiang River. Later, continue to drive to explore the world cultural heritage site - Xidi Village .  Dropped off at the airport.

    Hi, for the hike up Huangshan, do we carry all our luggage with us or just a day pack ?

    Hi Ron, the period is good. The most beautiful time of Huangshan is winter. During this time, only the treks to Tiandu Peak (Tiandufeng) and Baiyunxi are closed.
