Tour Overview

Day 1 Arrival/Kunming (no meals)
Meet your guide and driver at the airport, and then transfer to Golden Dragon Hotel (4-star). Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Kunming to Jianshui (B, L, D)
Drive to Jianshui, upon arrival visit the Zhang Family's Garden, Confucian Temple and Jianshui Ancient Town. Overnight in Zhu Family's Garden(3-star)

Day 3 Jianshui to Yuanyang (B, L, D)
Morning visit the Double Dragon Bridge. Later drive to Yuanyang to view the breathtaking terraced rice paddy fields and the sunset at Tiger Mouth. Hotel: Yunti Hotel (3-star)

Day 4 Yuanyang to Kunming (B, L, D)
Get up early to enjoy the awesome beautiful terraced rice paddy fields and the sunrise at Duoyishu. Later visit a local ethnic fair at Xinjie Town prior to drive back to Kunming. Hotel: Golden Dragon Hotel (4-star)

Day 5 Kunming to Dali (B, L, D)
After a hearty breakfast, be escorted to the airport for the flight to Dali.  Visit the Three Pagodas and then take a fisherman's boat to watch his cormorants catching fish in Erhai Lake. Hotel: Landscape Hotel (3-star)

Day 6 Dali to Lijiang (B, L, D)
We'll start the day with an opportunity to visit Xizhou Old Town, that covers Bai Minority's unique houses and traditions. Then we head to Lijiang and join our local guide for a tour of this romantic old town and its famous Black Dragon Pool Park. Hotel: Ancient Town Inn (3-star)

Day 7 Lijiang (B, L)
Today a chance to explore the must-see sights such as Yuhu Village, Joseph Rock's Former Residence, murals in Baisha Village and Suhe Old Town. Tonight why not enjoy the wonderful ethnic show -- Lishui Jinsha or experience the romantic night at a coffee shop or bar. 

Day 8 Lijiang to Zhongdian (B, L, D)
Enjoy a scenic drive along the highway before a chance to visit the beautiful Shigu Old Town and Tiger Leaping Gorge. Hotel: Pacific Rim Hotel (3-star)

Day 9 Zhongdian (aka Shangri-la) (B, L, D)
This morning is spent exploring the Pudacuo National Park, famous for its plants, lakes, rare animals and birds. You could even visit Gedan Songzanlin Lamasery, a temple which is nicknamed " The Lesser Potala Palace". This evening enjoy time to explore the Zhongdian Old Town.

Day 10 Zhongdian to Kunming (B, L)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Kunming. Drive to visit the beautiful Western Hills. Standing in its historic Dragon Gate, you can get a commanding view of the beautiful Dianchi Lake.  Hotel: Golden Dragon Hotel (4-star)

Day 11 Kunming (B, L)
Enjoy full day tour of the Stone Forest and Bamboo Temple.

Day 12 Kunming/Exit (B)
We are off to the airport and the end of the tour.
