Repulse Bay

Repulse Bay is the most spectacular beach in Hong Kong, hence not the most beautiful under heaven, it also worth a visit. It is located in southern part of Hong Kong Island, and not very far away from the Stanley Market.

The name "Repulse Bay" was derived after the British Army repulsed the pirates several decades ago when they occupied Hong Kong. In literally, its China name is "the Shallow Water Bay".

The beach is a crescent-shaped strand of sand. With clear water and silver sand, this is a great place to appreciate the sunset and wave tapping in extending beach and wild horizon. The peace provides quiet and fantastic scenery outside the hustle and bustle Hong Kong city.
