Tour Overview
On this tour, we will explore two beautiful destinations in Fujian Province. One is Xiamen, the other is Mt. Wuyi. The former was recently named China's 2nd 'most suitable city for living, and has many famous attractions for the tourists, such as Gulang Island, Shuzhuang Garden, Piano Museum, South Putuo Templ...the latter is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has many attractions include mountains much like those at Guilin, temples and other historic buildings, mysterious ancient Boat-coffins on the cliffs, and raft rides down a sensational river canyon...

Day1 Arrive in Xiamen (D)
Morning meet your local guide and driver at the Xiamen Airport (or train station). In the afternoon, visit the Jimei Middle School, the former residence of Chen Jiageng and the Guilai Hall.  --Megaboom Seaside Hotel  (3-star)

Day2 Xiamen/ Mountain Wuyi (B, L)
After breakfast, pay a visit to the Gulang Island, the Shuzhuang Garden, the Piano Museum, the South Putuo Temple, and then take a stroll on the beautiful Island Ring Road. After sightseeing, you will take the afternoon (or night) flight to the Wuyi Mountain. Upon  your arrival at the airport, be met and transfered to the hotel.  --Guangjing Hotel  (3-star)

Day3 Mountain Wuyi (B, L)
Make a full day exploration to the Tianyou Peak, the Tea Hole, the Yunwo Scenic Area, the Dahongpao Scenic Area, the Jiuqu Stream (you will have an interesting bamboo rafting on this beautiful zigzag limpid stream) and the Song Dynasty Street (Fanggu Street).  --Guangjing Hotel  (3-star)

-Tianyou Peak
Or Peak of Sky Tour. Frequently shrouded in clouds and mist, it towers aloft over clusters of peaks. Ascending to its top, one feels as if traveling upon a sea of clouds high up the sky, hence the name. The pavilion on the top, the highest among myriad peaks commands a panoramic view of Wuyi Mountain encircled by well-known peaks and the Jiuqu Stream on its three sides.

-Da Hong Pao
This magical and enchanted valley produces the best tea in Wuyi Mountain and is a tranquil and beautiful place. The Oolong tea grows in Da Hong Pao (literally: Big Red Robe) is often praised as "Tea King". The tea presents characteristic such as its high and long lasted floral fragrance, smooth, rich, sweet and refreshing aftertaste.

-Jiuqu Stream
Aka Nine Turns Stream or Nine-ben Stream. The most sophisticated charm of Wuyi Mountain is perhaps on both sides of Jiuqu Stream and the stream itself, which is winding its ways amidst the jungle of peaks and rocks. Drifting down the river you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery but the mysterious ancient Boat-coffins on the cliffs and many ancient rock inscriptions along the banks.

Day4 Mountain Wuyi/Xiamen
One day sightseeing in the Eagle Mouth Rock, the Tianche Jia, the Water Curtain Cave, the Yonglechan Temple and the Tianxin Buddha. After that, fly back to Xiamen.   --Megaboom Seaside Hotel  (3-star)

-Water Screen Cave
It's formed by curved cliff walls and an over-hanging cliff, each measuring serveral hundred feet in height or in with. It's spacious and can seat some thousand people. Built along the walls are a few roofless temples. Two spring keep cascading down day and night from the over-hanging cliff. Blown by the breeze, the waterfalls breaking into tiny drops, which resemble two water screens hanging from the top, and descend into the Dragon Bath Pond below.

Day5 Xiamen/Departure (B)
This morning is your free time. You can do some shopping or make a personal exploration of this beautiful city. In the afternoon, you will be escorted to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
