Hami will hold its 6th Hami melon tourist Festival from July 28th to the beginning of August 2nd.

"Hami" is the generic Chinese word referring to a group of crisp-fleshed winter melons. Hami melons produced in Xinjiang is characterized by fragrant smell and sweet and crisp taste. Moreover it has a high content of sugar.
