Chinese Tomb-sweeping Day's Reverence for Huang Emperor's Tomb

On April 4, a grand worship ceremony will be held for Huang Emperor's Tomb at the foot of Little Bridge Mountain in Hebei province. Many a Chinese people gather from all part of the world.

Anuall Tomb-sweeping Day is coming ( April 4). As a traditon, Tomb-sweeping Day are legal holiday (recognized in 2008) for Chinese pople to recall and wordship their ancestors.

Qingming, firstly as a solar term of Chinese agriculture, formed a tomb sweeping custom in the Qin and Han Dynasty. Qingming's tomb sweeping became popular tradition in the Tang and Song Dynasty.

Rich meaning is gifted to Tomb-sweeping Day by Chinese people who recall ancestors, pay thanksgiving for ancestors' outstanding achivements, and contemplate for future pursuit.
