According to statistics, Chinese citizens traveling to abroad would be the fulcrum to the world's tourism industry in the coming 2009.

Entering the second half of the year 2008, European and American tourists dropped as the result of the global financial crisis. There are statistics that this situation will continue into the first half of next year, and the Chinese citizens traveling to abroad next year would be the main inflows for the world's tourism industry.

According to the Organizing Committee of Chinese Outbound Travel Fair, in contrast to the decline of global tourism, the outbound travel of Chinese citizens maintain about 15% of high-growth trend in the first three quarters of the year 2008. The Chinese Outbound Tourism Trade Fair will be held on April 22-24, 2009 in Beijing.
