International Mountain Outdoor Sports Challenge Race Holding in Leye!

The Second International Mountain Outdoor Sports Challenge Race is being held in Leye, Baise, China now! The race last from April 26th to April 28th including cross-country running, cross-country biking, mountain climbing, mountain biking, valley traversing, prompt dropping in the giant deep karst pits, kayaking, drifting, running and mountain biking alternately etc. The total journey of the race is 206km. Now the race has attracted many outdoor sports fanciers from Sweden, Russia, Finland, Germany, French, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Mongolia, USA and China.


Baise is a beautiful city in the Guangxi Autonomous Region in South central China, location of the Zhuang minority peoples. It is blessed with picturesque karst landscape. Forested mountains harbor numerous species of plants and animals. The border areas are some of the least developed lands left in China. These features along with unique ethnic minority culture and important historical sites make it a growing tourist destination. In 1998, with the giant karst pit groups were discovered in the Leye County, it becomes the Mecca of outdoor sports. This makes Baise becomes more well-known to the outside world. According to the local government, the International Mountain Outdoor Sports Challenge Race will be held annually. So don't miss this beautiful place if you are a traveler or sports fancier!

There is a highway reach Baise. To visit Leye, you can take coach from Nanning, the Capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to Baise City, and then transfer to Leye County by bus.
