Shanghai World Expo is not only the economic, scientific and technological exchange between the countries but an unprecedented exhibition room for the global artwork. Many countries have transported their national treasures to Shanghai and show in their pavilions. Some below priceless treasures we may never meet in our lifetime.

French
The French Pavilion exhibits 7 pieces of artwork from the Orsay Museum (Musee d'Orsay), including the Woman with a Coffeepot by Paul Cézanne, the Dressing Gown by Pierre Bonnard, the Dance Hall in Arles by Van Gogh, the Angelus by Jean-Francois Millet, the Balcony by Manet Edouard, the Meal (aka the Bananas) by Paul Gauguin, as well as the Age of Bronze (aka the Vanquished, modeled in 1876) by Auguste Rodin. These works, each is worth at least 100 million euros, and they were transported to Shanghai by 7 special planes.

Italy
The Italy Pavilion displays two masterpieces, A Basket of Fruit and Boy with a Basket of Fruit, they are the representative works of the Renaissance master Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni.

Denmark
The Denmark Pavilion shows the Little Mermaid statue. The statue was a present from brewer Carl Jacobsen (The Carlsberg Breweries) to the city of Copenhagen, made by a then little known sculptor called Edvard Erichsen. The Little Mermaid symbolizes the fairy tale by Danish author and poet Hans Christian Andersen. For the Little Mermaid, it is her first time to leave home to visit the other country.

Luxembourg
The Luxembourg Pavilion shows the national treasure of Luxembourg - the Golden Lady (the Gëlle Fra), this gold-plated statue is a war memorial in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is dedicated to the thousands of Luxembourgers who volunteered for service in the armed forces of the Allied Powers during World War I. The Golden Lady is situated in Constitution Square, in the Ville Haute quarter of central Luxembourg City.

Mexico
The Mexico Pavilion shows the top national treasure of Mexico - "The Maya Pillar."

China
A Chinese proverb goes that "A powerful dragon cannot crush a snake in its old haunts." It means even a powerful man cannot crush a local bully. Naturally, the super exihbitor in the Shanghai Expo should be the host country. The China Pavilion takes the Four Great Inventions of ancient China and the scientific & technological development process of the Chinese nation as its exhibiting theme. The pavilion has at least 8 top national treasures displayed on, including the four cultural relics featuring the ancient Chu culture. They are the Stone Carving of Sungod (5,800 B.C - 4,700 B.C), the Drump Pedestal of Zenghouyi (Spring and Autumn Period,770 B.C - 476 B.C), bronze acupuncture figure (Ming dynasty, 1368 A.D - 1644 A.D), and the Bronze Drum with Gulosity Design (Shang dynasty,1,600 B.C - 1,100 B.C ).
