Situated in the west of Hunan Province, Wulinyuan Scenic Area (commonly known as Zhangjiajie) is considered as the biggest natural scenic spot in China, with the most comprehensive species and resources. This 500 sq km park is full of stunning tall karst quartzite sandstone pillars (3,103), covered with sub-tropical rainforest, the park is often clad in mist, adding to the mystery but obscuring views.
