8-Day China Ancient Capitals Tour

Tour Overview
Visit three most important capital cities of China, Beijing, Xian and Hangzhou to enjoy the Chinese culture, savor traditional cuisine, discover the history of the different Chinese regions...

Day 1 Arrive in Beijing (No meal)
Meet the local guide at Beijing Capital International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure to get a glance of the this capital city for 24 emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Day 2 Beijing (B, L)
After breakfast, pay a visit to  the Temple of Heaven and the Qianmen Dajie. After lunch proceed to visit the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City at p.m..

Optional night show: Beijing Opera

Morning make an excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall. After lunch, drive back to Beijing and take a Hutong tour with short ride on rickshaw to experience local Beijinger's life style.

Optional: Beijing Roast Duck

Day 4 Beijing/Xi'an (B, L)
Full day guided sightseeing tour of the Summer Palace, Yonghe Lamasery and Confucius Temple. Take overnight train to Xian, the capital city of 13 ancient dynasties in China's hitory.

Day 5 Xi'an (B, L)
Arrive in Xi'an in the morning. You will be met and and transfer to hotel for breakfast (early check-in is subject to room availability).  Afterwards, pay a visit to the Ancient City Wall, Bell Tower and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. 

Optional: Tang Dynasty Show

Day 6 Xian/Hangzhou (B, L)
This morning, visit Terracotta Warriors & Horses Museum and and its temple. In the afternoon, you will fly to Hangzhou, the capital city of South Song Dynasty.

Day 7 Hangzhou (B, L)
Today your Hangzhou city sightseeing includes West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Feilai Peak and Dragon Well Tea Plantation.

Day 8 Hangzhou/Departure (B)
After breakfast, visit one of the most important architecture, the Grand Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou. Visit Gongcheng Bridge over the canal and you can see it is still busy with shipping business. After visit the Grand Canal Museum nearby for more knowledge of the canal, you will be escorted to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
