Erlongshan Ski Resort

The Erlonghsan Ski Resort aka Longzhu Erlongshan Ski Resort, located in the west part of the Erlongshan Scenic Area, is a family-friendly, popular resort with 8 slopes; 2 for beginners and 6 for intermediate and more advanced level skiers. Three lifts will take ski enthusiasts up to the 228-meter-high mountain during the 120 day-long ski season, which runs from late November to early March. The scenery of the resort is beautiful, with the Erlongshan lake snugly positioned between two mountain ranges.

These years, the International Freestyle Skiing Competition and other festivals in the area have attracted many foreign visitors, making Erlongshan a very popular ski resort. For those who don’t ski or prefer a day off the pistes there are many other things to do such as tobogganing, skating, kart driving, snowmobile driving, sledging, rock-climbing, football, overhead cable, horse riding, visiting the sauna, and singing karaoke and so on. Accommodation is available in hotels, guest houses,and villas. Different kinds of food, from traditional style Chinese to western style food can be found in the resort. Because of the natural beauty of it surroundings, the Erlongshan resort is also a great destination during other seasons.

The mean elevation of Erlonghsan ski Resort is about 300 meters. Its average temperature in winter is from -15℃ to -18℃. It taks about 40-minute drive (50 km) to reach there from the downtown of Harbin City.
