3-Day Avatar Zhangjiajie Tour

Tour Overview
Zhangjiajie was once a location that James Cameron filmed his movie Avatar. In the end of 2009 and early 2010, many awesome beautiful Zhangjiajie attractions in his film had stunned the world audiences. Now we incorporate the attractions in this tour package and hope to trip with you.

Day1Arrive in Zhangjiajie (no meals)
Meet your guide at the airport (or some other appointed places) and then transfer to the hotel in downtown. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Day2 (B, L, D)
Drive to the world natural heritage - Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Hike through a grand valley (Baizhang Xia) and get lost in the mysterious Pandora's wonderland. Ascend the virgin Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by a super elevator. On the summit platform, you will see the Southern Sky Pillar - the unpredictable prototype of the "Hallelujah Mountains" in Avatar. In January 2010, it had been renamed "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain" by the local government in honor of the film.

Visit the Tianzi Mountain Reserve. From the unique peaks in clusters here you will re-find the mysterious setting of Avatar.

Go on sightseeing along the dreamlike fairyland – Shi Li Hua Lang (aka Gallery Canyon, lit. 10-li Gallery; 10 li=5km).

Pay a visit to the fantastic cave-Yellow Dragon Cave. The cave is nicknamed 'underground magical palace' for its grotesque stalagmites, cataracts, stones and lights etc.

Stay at Wulingyuan overnight

Day3 Depart (B, L)
Explore the beautiful Baofeng Lake - Around the lake area where the cataracts are found in the film Avatar. Proceed to the Golden Whip Stream - a charming valley which is most likely to bring you into the Pandora's wonderland of the movie. Then be escorted to the airport or train station to head for your next destination.
